Our Story

The journey of S'Esponja began in a hidden place in one of the side streets of Calle Bonaire back in the 90s, in Palma de Mallorca, with the emblematic S'Esponja Café.

 

S´Esponja Café was characterized by its young and modern atmosphere, its unforgettable sangrias and pa amb olis, and for being a place where friends and moments that last a lifetime were created.

Since then, Pedro Suau, its founder, has followed a life-long career in hospitality, fuelled by the love for the profession that originates from his family and which he learned from a young age.

​

Since then, he has not stopped, always in unique places: La Calita de Portals, S'Esponja Port, El Chaval by S'Esponja, Ca'n Garrit and Ca'n Uetam, among others. 

 

Over the years, Pedro Suau has evolved, and he now offers a more mature proposal.  His love for traditions, the classics, a comfortable and homely atmosphere, and Mallorca remain as a common thread.
